Sabbatical

As many of you have probably noticed my amount of posts have decreased drastically. This is not about making excuses but rather to provide an explanation and my way forward.

With all the time being devoted to getting ready to deploy I'm just quite simply running out of time in general. With that being said, I am going to take a sabbatical for about a month. That will cover the time needed to finish my preperations for deployment, the actual movement to Afghanistan, and getting settled in and setting the blog up there in theater.

For the next month I will post once or twice a week, but it will be reposts from A Major's Perspective of articles that I think are relevant and important to repost. The "AMP Morning Stand-To" and "Quote of the Day" will be discontinued until I reestablish operations in Afghanistan.

I do not take this decision lightly, and in truth I hate to do it. But, I think it is the only thing I can do.

I kindly ask all of my followers for your understanding and continued support as I make this jump overseas.
